Welcome to a new year of IHC! We had our first meeting last week to meet the new representatives, and next week we expect to lay out our plans for the quarter.

Our first event of the year will be our annual Tug of War on October 20th! There will be cash prizes and food. There will be a barbeque by the Homecoming festivities in lieu of brunch in the dining halls that day. More details forthcoming!

After a few minor logistical difficulties, this website is now in the process of being thoroughly updated!

Spring quarter has certainly been busy for IHC; we've been discussing:

  the potential implementation of a gender neutral housing policy
  the economics of the cost of meal plans
  the U-PASS referendum
  the student campaign to ban Coke products from Aramark-run dining 
	facilities

Moreover, we're in the process of running a housing wide Assasins game and the dorm rounds for the Roommate Game. We will also be having elections for our executive committee for the 2007-2008 academic year tonight!

Please stay tuned for updates about these events and issues. I will also do my best to put up old meeting minutes on this site.

Feburary 4th, IHC will be hosting our annual Quiz Bowl. Cash prizes will be awarded to house of the winning team. First prize will be $75, second will be $50, and $25 for third place. Our Blood Drive will be the following week on February 7th. Look for news about collection sites; there might be one in the Shoreland this year.
